Tanganyika Minerals Ltd operates two branch offices in Burundi – in Bujumbura, the economic capital on the shore of Lake Tanganyika, and in Ngozi in the north of the country. From these offices we purchase minerals from licensed local mining operators and artisanal mining cooperatives, test and process them, and prepare them for export. A representative of Burundi's mining authority (OBM) has an office at our facility.

Full participating member of the iTSCi programme. Mineral bags are tagged at source, with traceability documentation and chain-of-custody records for every lot.

Supply chain policy aligned with Annex II of the OECD Guidance for responsible supply chains of minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas.
We trade the 3T minerals – tin, tantalum and tungsten – together with beryllium and lithium ore. Every lot is tested, tagged and shipped with the documentation international smelters and refiners require.
Tungsten ore
Our lead export. Wolframite ore from Burundi's tungsten belt, supplied as concentrate with WO₃ assay results. Now open for offtake agreements.
Tin ore
Cassiterite (SnO₂) concentrate sourced from licensed Burundian operators, tagged and documented under ITSCI.
Tantalum ore
Coltan (columbite-tantalite) with Ta₂O₅ assay certificates, traceable from mine site to export.
Beryllium ore
Beryl ore within our licensed portfolio – volumes and specifications on request.
Lithium ore

We are seeking international buyers and long-term offtake partners for wolframite ore originating in Burundi. Ore specifications, assay results, available volumes and delivery terms are discussed directly with interested buyers.

Our name refers to the Lake Tanganyika region, where our Bujumbura office is located. We are not affiliated with Tanganyika Mining Burundi, Tanganyika Concessions or Tanga Resources.
We have two branch offices in Burundi, East Africa: Bujumbura and Ngozi. The company is Lithuanian-owned and has been operating since 2019.
